Meet the Team
FDC is made up of the powerhouse creative duo Jessica Burke and Ellen Kramer. Their effectiveness comes from a mix of Jessica’s artistic flair and passion with Ellen’s entrepreneurial skills and drive. Now they’re offering their skills to others through Four Doors Consulting.
Jessica and Ellen know how to build brands and create beautiful and successful digital marketing because they’ve done it time and again. They want to help creative entrepreneurs find success and take their businesses to the next level.
Jessica Burke used her fine arts background to launch her first business, as a professional photographer and graphic designer, in 2003, after 7 years of free-lancing. In 2004, she took the reins as graphic designer for New Orleans Weddings Magazine, then soon became Creative Director, and in 2008 bought the company and has continued to take it to new levels every year since.
Jessica’s specialty is anything and everything visual, be it photography, graphic design or her personal escape — painting. She is passionate about taking clients’ ideas and translating them into a visual representation of their hopes and dreams.
Jessica and her husband, Jason, live in Metairie, Louisiana, with their four rambunctious sons, a dog that follows them everywhere and a cat that only wanders in occasionally. She continues in her role as publisher of New Orleans Weddings and producer of two yearly experiential bridal events.
Jessica considers herself lucky because she genuinely loves what she does. She’s thrilled when her clients and their businesses reach their full potential.
Ellen Martin Kramer turned her love of learning into a career of entrepreneurial pursuits, finding success as a web designer, an event planner, a professional organizer and a productivity coach. She learned the ins and outs of marketing and branding the hard way: By doing it to promote her own ventures.
She must have done something right, because she became a recognized leader in her chosen fields. She and her work were featured on TV – on programs including “The Dr. Oz Show,” “Larry King Live” and TLC’s “Hoarding, Buried Alive” and she is the co-author of “Exploring Productivity: Ideas from Industry Professionals on Getting More Done in the Workplace.”
Ellen enjoys strategizing with her clients, finding ways for them to reach their goals that feel right for them. Her innate ability to organize and her natural enthusiasm make her an easy partner in any venture.
